Fantasy Football Offseason Update

As the NFL season turns to a close, and this time my wife isn’t pregnant with another kid and dealing with 24/7 morning sickness, I’m planning to keep the blog going between now and September.

While it may be possible to keep it going with just fantasy football-based content, or at least football, or perhaps at least sports, I’m planning to introduce a variety of topics to the blog. Board gaming is what I have in mind at the moment. I don’t plan to spend on a second domain name (the website is just under my name, after all) so I’m going to cram it all in at Byron-Cobalt.com.

Understanding that I may have readers that are following the blog less for my wit and more for an overlap in interests by way of fantasy football, I’m going to take a few steps to try and keep those readers without spamming them with content they have no interest in. On this site, I’m going to add another “author” named “Jackson Warfield” for the board gaming. Jackson Warfield will probably need his own Twitter and Reddit handles. I don’t want to give him too much, ungrateful bastard.

A few other things I have in mind for the offseason:

  1. YouTube (I have a ‘commitment’ to a friend that I would have videos uploaded by April)
  2. An Excel “Sim League” game that is marketable to the general public, probably 7 on 7 football
  3. A Fantasy Football-related book

Nonetheless, whether you’re interested in following along with a variety of topics, or plan to check out until football season, I hope you enjoy the content that is on its way.
